THE OBJECTIVE: Sumnu Marketing will re-engage the community for the grand opening of the West Las Vegas Library branch. We will provide a well-rounded grassroots marketing and outreach plan consisting of S.T.E.P (Strategy, Tactics, Execution, and Planning) to establish Loyal Brand Champions of the new West Las Vegas branch.

Event Planning and Logistical Support

  • Coordinate and host bi-weekly project management meetings.
  • Align outreach activities with THE LIBRARY DISTRICT branding, public relations (via “The Firm”), and
    internal marketing efforts.
  • Build and manage a contact list including elected officials, community leaders, organizational partners, schools, media, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with community connectors and partner organizations to amplify outreach.
  • Collaborate with THE LIBRARY DISTRICT for run of show support including activation of spaces, ribbon
    cutting, vendor booths, and event logistics.

Street Canvassing and Public Engagement

  • Develop a strategic outreach plan and deploy street team to distribute resource information and engage
    residents, partners, and stakeholders of the target area.

Internet Marketing/Outreach

  • Develop Marketing Communications (MARCOMM) plan to include digital campaigns, messaging,
    recommended platforms to engage residents, and schedule.
  • Opening Day Coordination and Staffing Support
    – On-site event staffing and support for outreach, coordination, and community engagement.
    – Media coordination and support.
    – Coordinate and host a project team kickoff meeting
    – Review and update the current list of community partners in target area and regionally
    – Develop a 90-Day Outreach Plan for all residential and business addresses in the study area
    – Serve as the outreach street team for canvassing
    – Develop factsheets and post event reporting for outreach efforts
    – Participate in community events to boost awareness about Opening Day
    – Weekly check-in emails to organize milestones and provide direction and/or feedback to the Library District team
