Shaundell Newsome– Founder & Visionary

Shaundell Newsome, Founder & Visionary of Sumnu Marketing is a four-time Small Business Administration (SBA) Award winner, and a published author of the Twelve Steps of Marketing. Newsome served a decade in the United States Air Force and worked for Station Casinos as a Marketing Director for seven years prior to launching Newsome Marketing Enterprises in 2006 which was later rebranded to Sumnu Marketing in 2010. The highlight of his four-decade journey in entrepreneurship is building a family legacy with the firm winning SBA Nevada Family-Owned Business of the Year in 2015 with Tiara Flynn, his daughter as CEO, wife Arlene as CFO and niece Carla Beard as COO. Today, his granddaughter Amaya Edden-Glover has launched The NU Network, a social network for small business owners building on the Sumnu Solutions Zone created by Tiara Flynn. He believes in developing new leaders for the future and entrepreneurs for small business sustainability and growth.
